2008-12-15 - Server move complete!
After some really annoying setbacks and problems we have finally got ALL boards over and working properly on the new server. We also took the oppertunity to streamline the deployment of new boards while we were at it so there is less work for us to do when it comes to installing and updating boards.
2008-12-06 - Server moving!
Over the past month or so many of our customers have noticed that we have been having problems with the current server and its stability. As a result of this all of us at the EVEKB team have been working with our suppliers to get a new system online that was fast and stable and that did not fall foul of the really crap exchange rate between the UK and the US.
Today the decision was made to move the server from Florida to London's Docklands data hub. The move will be happening over the next day or so and as a safety measure for all your kills we are CLOSING down the databases until the move is complete so no new mails can be submitted.
Once the data has all been moved over and verified we will re-integrate the databases and bring the killboards back online.
2008-12-01 - Killboard Updates!!
Over the course of the next week or two (depending on how long each board takes) we will be migrating ALL kills from the old database (the one we built when faction warfare came out) to a new and heavily optimised one that does not have all the faction coding dragging it down.
